Since moving to Sheffield my gardening opportunities have been drastically curtailed. This house has a small mature garden with almost nothing left to do. I’ve planted a few flowers in pots to try and cheer it up but the incessant rain is causing the flowers to rot on the stems. I have been considering next door’s lilies but mine have yet to open.
(You may wish to type, “lilies”, into the search box, top right, to see last years big orange specimens. They really were considerable and they certainly didn’t toil or spin).
My greatest horticultural achievement here is a nice window box. Fortunately Pea Green has a large unmanageable garden to which I can contribute usefully, but that’s the subject of the next post.
(I am gradually squeezing these Hipstamatic shots into their allotted thematic boxes).
I’ve tried to break out of my Hipstamatic rut of always using the John S Lens with either Kodot Grizzled or Ina’s 1969 Film. Here are six shots of where I live proceeding geographically from the front of the house to the back through the square window. I used the James M Lens which gives a nice warm glow and Ina’s 1982 Film.
